Privacy and saved data
Room Planner works without an account. Your rooms are saved in this browser on this device unless you choose to use the optional account feature.
Local plans
When you use Room Planner without signing in, room measurements, furniture, notes and any floor-plan image stay in your browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded by the planner. Clearing this browser’s site data removes the local copy, so use Back up all rooms if you want a separate backup.
Optional Google sign-in
If account saving is enabled on the website, you can sign in with Google. Room Planner receives your Google account name, email address and a Google account identifier to recognize your account. Room Planner does not receive your Google password.
Signing in does not upload your rooms. When you choose Save this browser’s rooms to account, Room Planner uploads the current saved plans, furniture library, measurements, notes and any attached floor-plan image to its Cloudflare database. This is a manual cloud copy; later edits remain local until you save again. You can restore that copy on another device after signing in.
Deleting account data
Use Account and cloud save → Delete account and cloud data to remove your Room Planner account record and saved cloud plans from the active database. This does not remove the separate plans saved in your browser. Cloudflare may retain database recovery copies for a limited period under its service settings.
Website analytics
When Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled, its browser beacon measures page visits and page performance for the site dashboard. Analytics does not receive room contents or floor-plan images.
Services used
Google provides sign-in. Cloudflare hosts the site and, when account saving is enabled, stores the account record and cloud copy. Room Planner requests only the Google sign-in information needed to recognize an account; it does not request access to Google Drive or other Google files.
